Description: Used for ages 12 years and older. The NIDA-Modified Substance Use Screener is a self-report measure that assesses substance use in the last 30 days. If substance use is affirmed, an additional item regarding types of substances used will be presented for the patient to select.
This screener precedes PROMIS Severity of Substance Use (Past 30 Days) if substance use screener is positive.
